The Shelby County Sheriff’s Department is requesting snack donations for their Christmas Outreach program called, “Christmas: A Season of Giving.” Donated items will be distributed to the inmates along with the Gospel of Jesus Christ on Friday, Dec. 17, at 7:30 p.m. They are seeking donations such as Little Debbie snack cakes, honey buns or cookies. Please don’t donate foods with fruit or nuts. The Sheriff’s Department will be accepting donations Dec. 16, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department Training Facility on McDowell Road, Columbiana (on the left past the jail).
