The University of Montevallo Student-Athlete Advisory Committee sponsored a Coaches versus Student-Athletes Kickball Game to raise money for Make-A-Wish Foundation. The event also featured a pie-in-the-face auction in which athletes, coaches and spectators could bid to pie a coach or administrator in the face. Each coach and student-athlete who played in the game had to donate $5 to Make-A-Wish.

The two highest bids for the pie auction were for men’s basketball coach Danny Young, who went for $150, and men’s and women’s cross country head coach Michael Marquardt, who sold for $133.43. Fifteen other coaches and administrators auctioned off for a total of $374.
