Bernard Robert Shepard, 74, of Montevallo, formerly of Burlingame, Calif., passed away Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010.  Mr. Shepard was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Celia Shepard; brother, Roger Shepard; and daughter, Shannon Shepard. Survivors include his daughter, Ann Shepard Curl of Montevallo; son, Clay Shepard of San Francisco, Calif.; brother, Richard Shepard of Rhode Island; four grandchildren, Genora Shepard, Autumn Curl, Shannon Curl and Cody Curl.
Visitation was held at Rockco Funeral Home, Montevallo, Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010 from noon to 1:30 p.m.  Graveside services followed at 2 p.m. at Alabama National Cemetery with Bro. Bobby Coston officiating.  Rockco Funeral Home, Montevallo directing.
