The Crystal Clear Project, developed by the Montevallo First Baptist Church, is designed to help restore the beauty of the Gulf Coast. The UM Environmental Club, along with the Montevallo First Baptist Church, sponsors the project. The group’s challenges residents throughout Shelby County to drink tap water, rather than buying bottled water. The money normally spent on bottled water and other bottled or canned drinks could be donated to the project. Donations will be sent to The Coastal Estuary Restoration Fund. Donations can be dropped off in Harman 127 or Harman 118. Make checks payable to Montevallo First Baptist Church.
