Chelsea resident Ramona Watkins Mainess has been named director of dining services for Somerby at St Vincent’s One Nineteen in Hoover.

Mainess has 30 years experience in the hospitality field and was previously with Noland Health Care and Café Ramona.

Mainess is working toward a graduate degree in nutrition from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tenn., and holds an undergraduate degree in chemistry and nutrition from Oakwood University in Huntsville.

Somerby at St. Vincent’s One Nineteen offers active living options for independent living, assisted living and memory care, a subsidiary of Dominion Partners headquartered in Birmingham.
