The Vincent High School volleyball team saw its 2010 season end with a loss to Cleveland in the Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 2A, Area 10 tournament semifinals Oct. 11.

The Yellow Jackets fell 15-25, 21-25, 20-25 to Cleveland at Ohatchee High School, which hosted the Class 2A, Area 10 tournament.

Junior Kiara Cohill led the Yellow Jackets (7-13) with nine kills. Cohill added three digs and a block.

Junior Michele Brasher added six kills and two digs. Senior Jessica Posey chipped in three kills, three service aces and three digs.

Sophomores Letha Burns and Bernadette Stamps added one kill each. Burns added four service aces and three digs.

Senior Amber Shaw recorded a team-high 24 digs and eight service aces. Junior Rachel Johnson registered a team-high 12 assists to go along with seven digs and a service ace.

Junior Courtney Holston finished with four digs and an assist. Eighth-grader Destanie Howard tallied three digs and a service ace.

Junior Joleen George recorded a service ace in the loss.
