The Spain Park High School volleyball team saw its 2010 season end with a 13-25, 25-22, 20-25, 16-25 loss to host Vestavia Hills in the Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 6A, Area 12 tournament semifinals Oct. 12.

Katie Best led the Jaguars (21-29) with 10 kills. Best added six digs and three blocks.

Sydney Fritz recorded six kills, six digs and two blocks. Kendall Carlis added six kills and two blocks.

Kylie Beaubien finished with two kills and a team-high three blocks.

Madison Mulkey registered a team-high nine assists. McKenna McLain added eight assists.
