Chelsea Roper and Steven Carter are proud to announce the arrival of their daughter Makenzie Jane Carter who was born on Sept. 9, 2010 at 9:19 a.m. at Shelby Medical Center.  Makenzie weighed 8 pounds and 8 ounces and was 20 inches long at birth.  Makenzie’s grandparents are Sunni and Todd Jefferies of Montevallo, Dora and the late Phillip Carter of Chelsea and Joanna and Chris Roper of Calera.

Mother, father and baby are all doing fine!
