The Shelby County School District is one of the featured school districts for the Summer/Fall 2010 edition of Education Executive magazine. The magazine boats 30,000 readers nationally.

The Shelby County School District’s education spotlight article is titled “The Model for Excellence” and highlights the district’s four main areas of focus: Continuous School Improvement (CSI), Strategic Planning, Professional Development/Leadership Training and Instruction.

Shelby County is the only school district from Alabama to be featured in this issue.
