The International Art Gallery recently had a ribbon cutting attended by city officials, chamber members and artists whose work is displayed in the gallery. Also present were friends and family members of Trina Ray, who opened the gallery in the location formerly occupied by Lacey’s Jewelry and Gifts in Montevallo. The gallery will offer classes in oil, acrylic, gold leaf, china and porcelain painting, batik and handcrafted jewelry. The gallery features contemporary and traditional paintings, beaded jewelry, quilts, hand painted porcelain and flower arrangements.
