A 58-year-old Hoover man was found dead July 23 in the pool at his residence in Greystone, according to the Hoover Police Department.

The body was discovered by his wife around 6 a.m., said Police Capt. Jim Coker.

“Right now we’re waiting on the autopsy results to determine if this was an accidental death or perhaps a medical emergency that took place while he was in the pool,” he said.
