Funeral service for Edwin Williams, age 92, will be Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Bluff Park United Methodist Church in Hoover. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. in Marble City Cemetery in Sylacauga. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 4 from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
Mr. Williams died Saturday, May 1, 2010. He graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree, was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force and was self-employed as an engineer.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Marie Vincent Williams.
He is survived by two nephews, Douglas Williams of Huntsville and Jimmy Williams of Calera.
