Marriott International will open its 93-room Fairfield Inn & Suites in Pelham Wednesday, April 28.

The new hotel is located at 230 Cahaba Valley Road.

The new Fairfield Inn & Suites public space features an innovative and contemporary design. Each room features a 32-inch LCD television, a microwave, a mini-fridge and a sleeping area.

Additional in-room amenities include an ergonomic desk chair, hair dryer and two phones with free local calls.

Rates begin at $79 per night.

A complimentary continental breakfast is available each morning in the lobby area.

Other hotel amenities include an indoor swimming pool with whirlpool spa, exercise room, valet laundry service, free high-speed Internet and fax and copy service.

The hotel also offers 720-square feet of meeting space to accommodate small meetings and functions of up to 40 people.
