The Calera High School baseball team fell 13-12 and 15-14 to Oak Grove in the opening round of the Class 4A baseball playoffs April 16.

Jeremy Hyde and Adam Winterbottom led the Eagles (11-15) at the plate as each finished 3-for-5 and drove in four runs in the opener.

Trent Posey finished 2-for-5 and drove in three runs.

Chase Rockco and J.R. Posey each went 2-for-5. Chase Jones took the loss in the first game.

Trent Posey led Calera as he finished 3-for-4 and drove in three runs in the nightcap.

J.R. Posey went 3-for-4 and drove in a run.

Chase Rockco finished 3-for-4 and drove in two runs. Nathan Smith went 2-for-4 and drove in two runs.

Zac Isbell went 2-for-5 and drove in two runs. Jeremy Hyde took the loss in the second game.
