Hoover police arrest burglary suspect

Hoover Police have arrested a suspect in connection with several Hoover business burglaries.
Maurice Jerome Myers, 38, of Birmingham, was arrested and charged March 16 with the Oct. 22, 2009 burglary of Wolf Camera at Inverness Corners.
According to a press release from the Hoover Police Department, Myers is also suspected in several other December Hoover business burglaries.
The Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences analyzed evidence recovered at the scene by Hoover Crime Scene Investigation detectives. The analysis led to Myers’ arrest.
Myers is currently in the Hoover Jail, where he awaits transfer to the Shelby County Jail. He is being held on $200,000 bond.
