Numerous routes in Shelby County will be closed throughout the week to allow for railroad upgrades, according to County Engineer Randy Cole.

Shelby County 52 in Pelham near U.S. 31 will be closed Feb. 23 from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Shelby County 66 in Alabaster will be closed Feb. 24 from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Lastly, Shelby County 87 in Saginaw will be closed Feb. 25 from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Detours with signs will be in place to direct motorists.
