Spain Park High School brothers Geoffrey and Tommy Bostany combined to go 8-0 in their wrestling matches Dec. 28 at the Pelham Duals at Pelham High School.

Geoffrey Bostany had one pin and two technical falls wrestling in both the 135-pound and 140-pound weight divisions during the Pelham Duals. Geoffrey earned a 6-2 decision over Thompson’s Nick Hall in the 140-pound match against the Warriors. Tommy Bostany had one pin and two major decisions in his 112-pound matches.

Conrad Hathcoat finished with a 3-1 record, including two pins in 130-pound matches. The Jags dropped all four meets against Cleburne County, Thompson, Benjamin Russell and the host Panthers.

Thompson defeated the Jags 54-19 at the Pelham Duals. Jalen Wesley and John Austin Jones picked up pins against Spain Park.

Thompson also defeated Benjamin Russell 33-28 and Cleburne County 49-26 at the Pelham Duals.

Matthew Gilson earned pins against his 103-pound Benjamin Russell and Cleburne County foes.

Reed Jacks, Hayden Franklin, Jacob Mayhall, Hall, and Nick Parten each won their matches against Benjamin Russell. Nick Lowe, Trey Allen, Jones, Corey Thomas and Alex Costes won their matches against Cleburne County.

Pelham defeated Spain Park 66-18. Cody Wehunt, Taylor Anchors and P.J. Williams each earned pins against their respective Spain Park opponents.
