Miss Alabama 2009 Liz Cochran will host a fundraiser for the Children’s Miracle Network in the Pelham High School auditorium at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 13.

The program will feature area dance troupes, other Miss Alabama top 10 finalists and former Miss Alabamas.

Tickets are $10, and all proceeds will go to the Children’s Miracle Network.

Attendees are also asked to bring a gift-wrapped children’s book for Cochran to distribute to Children’s Hospital patients.

Cochran, a Helena native, is preparing for her trip to Las Vegas to compete in the Miss America pageant Jan. 30, 2010.
