Brittany Vanderburg, a graduate of Spain Park High School, was one of only 10 high school seniors nationwide to receive a 2009 scholarship from Harland Clarke Holdings Corp.

The scholarship recipients are dependents of employees of one of the three wholly-owned subsidiaries that comprise Harland Clarke Holdings Corp.: Harland Clarke, Harland Financial Solutions and Scantron. The $1,000 scholarships are renewable annually for up to four years.

As a student at Spain Park High School, Vanderburg achieved a 3.67 GPA. She was involved in several organizations, including National Honor Society, soccer (Girls 6A State Champions), varsity track and cross country. Vanderburg attends the University of Mississippi. She is the daughter of Ann Vanderburg.
