Gov. Bob Riley reappointed April Weaver to the Statewide Health Coordinating Council on June 30.

Weaver has worked in healthcare administration for more than 16 years. She received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Alabama in 1993, and became a nurse in 1997. She is currently the director of business development at the Shelby Baptist Medical Center.
