The pioneering design for Danberry at Inverness, the Daniel Corporation’s distinctive senior living community in Hoover, has earned national recognition by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
For this design, CJMW, the architectural, engineering and interior design firm which designed Danberry at Inverness, received the Silver Award in the 2009 Best 50+ Housing Awards from the NAHB.
The design, which brings nature indoors throughout the senior living community in groundbreaking ways, was recognized in the “Best Large CCRC on the Boards” category.
The selection was made by an elite panel of judges that included builders, developers, architects, marketing experts and other respected industry professionals.
The panel chose finalists from nearly 200 total entries in more than 40 categories.
Opening this fall, Danberry at Inverness is the 37-acre senior living community and flagship senior housing project for Daniel Corporation. The community includes independent living apartments and cottages, a clubhouse with a pool and fitness center, and a healthcare center to meet the needs of any senior citizen.
Daniel Corporation, headquartered in Birmingham, is an innovative, full-service real estate organization focused on development and management of commercial office, multi-family, senior living and residential communities in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic states.
