The 2009 session of Alabama Girls State will be held June 7-12 at Troy University.

Samantha N. Adams has been chosen to represent Shelby County High School.

Samantha is the daughter of Jim and Wanda Adams.

Dalta Garrett will represent Hope Christian High School. Dalta is the daughter of Bill and Vivian Garrett of Pelham.

Jazmine Pritchett of Vincent High School and Krystal Fochtmann of Shelby Academy, have been chosen to represent their schools as well.
