Only a select few ever get the chance to be called state champ, and even fewer can do so three straight years. This year’s Shelby County Reporter Softball Player of the Year, Chelsey Dunnaway, led Cornerstone Christian School to its third straight AISA Class 1A title on May 2. She completed her junior season with a 32-4 record, 0.24 ERA and 310 strikeouts.
