Funeral service for Mary Evelyn Wilson, age 85, of Chelsea, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2009, at Bolton Chapel with the Rev. Alan Kurkendahl officiating. Burial will follow at White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery in White Plains, Ga. on Friday. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Wilson, who passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at a local hospital, was born Feb. 12, 1924, in Jackson County, Ga. She is the daughter of William and Flora Roberts.
She is survived by her children, Martha Wilson Burger, Rachel Wilson Maples; grandchildren, Ginger Moon, Mary Beth Burger; 3 great grandchildren, Courtney, Anna, Sara; sister, Sue Hayes and a host of other family and friends.
