Beth Chapman wants a second term as Alabama’s secretary of state.
Chapman, who lives in Shelby County, announced her reelection bid Monday.
“Serving as Alabama’s secretary of state has been a tremendous honor for me,” Chapman said. “My staff and I will continue our efforts to stop voter fraud, provide fair and honest elections, computerize Alabama’s business filing and simplify the military’s right to vote.”
Chapman was elected Alabama’s 51st secretary of state in 2006. She previously served a term as state auditor.
