Spain Park High School teacher Cheryl Morrow has been named the Hoover secondary school teacher of the year.

Morrow, who is in her seventh year at Spain Park, is a government and economics teacher. She has never received this award before.

Morrow was named the Alabama Economics Teacher of the Year for secondary education during the 2007-08 school year. She has received numerous other awards for teaching economics.
