Installation of the St. Helen Chapter of the Order of the Daughters of the King at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Montevallo was recently held during morning services. Shown with Fr. The mission of the order is the extension of Jesus Christ_s Kingdom through prayer, service and evangelism. At the installation service, members received their crosses, which were blessed by Rector Tuohy. The modified Greek fleury cross is inscribed in Latin, Magnanimiter Crucem Sustine, the watchword of the Order, meaning “With heart, mind and spirit uphold and bear the cross.”
