Two people wanted by the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office were arrested at the University of Alabama last week.
Authorities say Jordin Ann Bonds and Matthew Roland Oakes were arrested by University of Alabama Police at Riverside North dormitory Oct. 16. Campus police were asked to locate Bonds and Oakes for a sheriff’s investigation.
Bonds, a UA student, was charged with escape, reckless endangerment, resisting arrest and theft of property. Bonds was transported to the Shelby County Jail and later released on bond, Capt. Ken Burchfield said Monday.
Oakes, who is not enrolled at UA, was charged with using an alias, reckless endangerment, resisting arrest, attempting to elude/evade, theft of property and a traffic violation.
Oakes is being held at the Shelby County Jail on $71,300 bond.
