Hertz Equipment Rental Corporation celebrated the grand re-opening of its general rental facility in Pelham June 13.

The event, which drew more than 200 people, showcased the facility’s showroom and newly-expanded product line, which includes small tools, equipment and contractors’ supplies. At the grand re-opening, vendor demonstrations and literature were available, a free lunch was catered by Dreamland Bar-B-Que, and giveaways were provided on-site.

The grand re-opening is part of the company’s general rental program expansion, which began in 2003 to increase services and products for small, medium and large contractors, as well as homeowners. The company added 23 general rental locations in and currently has more than 100 locations throughout the United States and Canada.

The Pelham location offers roto-tillers, tile saws, trenchers, paint sprayers, ladders, pumps and scaffolding. It also offers a wide assortment of construction and industrial equipment from manufacturers such as Multiquip, Genie, Finn, Bil-Jax, John Deere, Wacker and Stihl.
