Spain Park track athlete Terrell Mickens recently signed to join the University of Alabama men’s track and field team.

Mickens finished third in the 800-meter run during the AHSAA Class 6A state championship in May with a time of 1:56.92. He also set new personal records in the shot put, high jump and long jump at the state decathlon/heptathlon
