Funeral service for James Charlie Reynolds, age 88, of Columbiana, was 2 p.m., Monday, June 23, 2008, at Bolton-Letlow Chapel.

Mr. Reynolds, who passed away Saturday, June 21, 2008, at a care facility, was born Nov. 8, 1919, in Gordo. He was a veteran of World War II in the Navy.

Mr. Reynolds worked in the credit division of Loveman’s Department Store for several years and retired from Blach’s as credit manager in 1985. He attended Good Hope Methodist Church in Kingdom.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Jean Reynolds; a son, James Dennis Reynolds; a daughter, Mitzi K. Shaw; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
