Lauren Johnson, a student at Shelby Academy, recently received the following honors during the awards day at the Shelby County School of Technology: Highest GPA in Healthcare Science, highest GPA in Mathematics, highest Work Ethic in Mathematics, highest GPA in Government/Economics, highest Work Ethic in Government/Economics, highest Work Ethic in English, National BETA Club, National Technical Honor Society.

She also received a $600 scholarship from the Chamber of Commerce and a $10,000 scholarship from the United States Achievement Academy is pending
