Funeral service for George Benjamin Ritch, Jr., age 90, of Cropwell, Ala., will be on Thursday, June 12 at 11 a.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. James Blair will officiate. There will also be a graveside service at Elmwood Cemetery at 2 p.m. Visitation will be prior to the service on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home.

Mr. Ritch, who passed away on June 8, 2008, is preceded in death by his wife, Louise R. Ritch and son, Robert David Ritch. He owned Ritch Pharmacy in Mt. Brook for 40 years where he and his wife worked there together. He is a 1948 graduate of Howard College.

Mr. Ritch is survived by one granddaughter, Bevely Alison Ritch.
