Justin Posey of Montevallo has been awarded a $1,000 college scholarship by Dodge division and Susan Schein Chrysler Dodge in Pelham.

Posey is the son of Shelby County Farmers Federation members Richard and Michelle Posey.

A student at Montevallo High School and member of the Montevallo FFA Chapter, Posey plans to study agricultural communications at Auburn University.

Posey is one of 50 scholarship recipients from across the United States.

The scholarships are awarded on behalf of Dodge dealers to FFA members who are planning to attend college and also are from Farm Bureau families. Alabama Farmers Federation is a member of the American Farm Bureau Federation.
