Funeral service for Mr. Rodney Earl Cook, 45, of Sterrett were held Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at Vandiver Church of God with Brother Ray Jackson and Brother David Houston officiating.

Interment was in Lawley’s Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. Cook passed away Saturday, May 31, 2008, in Sterrett.

He is preceded in death by his father, John Earl Cook, and by a daughter, Evelyn Regal Cook.

Mr. Cook is survived by his wife, Kerry Cook of Sterrett; daughters, Crystall Myers of Indiana, Ashlyn Campbell of Sterrett and Julie Spradlin of Vincent; sons, Drew Cook of Leeds, Michael Fitzgerald of Pell City, Shane Cook of Sterrett, Dilon Cook of Leeds and Ryan Campbell of Sterrett; mother, Gayle (Kenneth) Stamps; sister, Melinda (Rodney) Driggers; brothers, Keith (Dawn) Cook, Justin Cook and Johnathan Cook; five grandchildren; two nephews, three nieces.

Mr. Cook was employed by Shoemaker Pools and was previously employed by Dan Yoe Pools for 15 years.
