Funeral service for Nola Smith, age 84, of Alabaster, was at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at Elliottsville Presbyterian with burial to follow at Elliottsville Cemetery. Visitation was Tuesday from 6-8 pm at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home.

Mrs. Smith, who passed away Monday, May 26, 2008, at her son’s home, was born Nov. 5, 1923, in Kentucky.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Albert Hosie Smith, and a daughter-in-law, Mary E. Smith.

She is survived by her children, James Thomas (Tommy) Smith, Patricia Ann (Don) Moncrief; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; very special family friends, Sandra and Charles Howell; and a host of other family and friends.
