Sarah Hitchcock of Helena was recently awarded a four-year University of Alabama at Birmingham Blazing Scholars scholarship award, valued at $16,000.

She is the daughter of Ray and Libby Hitchcock of Helena.

Hitchcock is a senior at Pelham High School. She is also a member of the varsity soccer team. She plans on majoring in high school education
