Funeral service for Herman “Buddy” Smith, age 72, of Foley, formerly of Chelsea, will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 29, 2008, at K-Springs Church of God.

Burial will follow at K-Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. at K-Springs Church.

Mr. Smith, who passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2008, was born Aug. 28, 1935, in Calcis.

He is preceded in death by his son, Donald L. Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Rena Smith; son, Ron Smith; daughter-in-law, Teena Smith; grandson, Hayden N. Smith; sisters, Mavis Rasco and Margie Graves; brother, G.R. Smith; and a host of other family and friends.
