Funeral service for Louise Carroll Drake, 88, of Harpersville, will be March 26, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel. The Rev. Theoangelo Perkins will officiate. Burial will follow at Harpersville Cemetery. Visitation was held March 25 from 5-8 p.m. at the chapel.

Mrs. Drake, who passed away on March 22, 2008, worked for years at Beaunit Mills and Vulcan Binder.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Olen Drake; son, Ronald David Drake; and daughter, Linda Diane Drake.

She is survived by daughters, Barbara Drake (Done) Layton of Anniston and Judith Drake Galloway of Clanton; son, James Edward (Johnnie) Drake of Nashville, Tenn.; sister, Velma Waldrop of Arab; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Drake of Moody, seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Family will receive flowers or donations to the Alzhiemer Foundation.
