Funeral service for Ola Lee Luquire, age 92, of Calera, was held at 2 p.m., Monday, March 10, 2008, at Bolton-Letlow Chapel with the Rev. Ken Humphrey officiating.

Burial followed at Summerhill Cemetery. Visitation was Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Luquire, who passed away Saturday, March 8, 2008, at a local hospital, was born Oct. 14, 1915, in Shelby County.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jody and Johnny Mitchell, and her sister, Theresa Irene Jones.

She is survived by her brothers, Tom, Jack, J.D., Bobby, James, Charles Lee and Walter R. Mitchell; one sister, Marjorie Golembiewski; and a host of other family and friends.
