Coosa Valley Academy was recently designated as an Alabama Independent School Association Blue-Ribbon School for the 2007-08 school year. The AISA recognized CVA for exemplifying excellence in teaching, student performance, school life, plant and facilities and school and community interaction. The school marked the award with a ceremony Thursday and by hanging up blue ribbons.
