NetWorks will have its official launch, including a special luncheon, presentation, door prizes and information booths Jan. 9 from 10 a.m. &045; 1 p.m., at the Calera Senior Center. The partnership between United Way, Positive Maturity and Middle Alabama Area Agency on Aging seeks to connect volunteers from faith based groups, social groups and all areas of the community to seniors in Shelby County. The volunteers will assist with issues wuch as transportation, friendly visits, light housekeeping and other unmet needs.
