Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gerard Campanotta of Hoover are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Gina Marie to Rudy Glenn Fuglaar Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Glenn Fuglaar of Wilsonville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Elendor Elizabeth Turner and the late Mr. George Grady Turner of Hoover and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Phillip Campanotta of Helena. Miss Campanotta is a graduate of Hoover High School and Auburn University, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She will graduate from

Montevallo University on May 3, 2007 with a master’s in elementary education. She is employed by Shelby County Schools.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Vernia Fuglaar and the late Mr. Rudolph Fuglaar of Atlanta and the late Mr. and Mrs. Bernard W. Carter of St. Louis, Missouri. Mr. Fuglaar is a graduate of Shelby County High School. He is currently attending The University of Alabama at Birmingham pursing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
