Margaret P. Edwards

Margaret P. Edwards of Columbiana, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away at a local hospital in Alabaster on Monday, June 11, 2007.
She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 and one-half years, Thomas E. (Ed) Edwards.
She was born in Etowah County on June 14, 1928 and was 78 years of age. She was preceded in death by her son, Eddie Wayne Edwards.
She leaves behind her son, Robert G. (Sherry) Edwards, Sr. of Fort Myers, Fla.; daughter, Sandra E. (Jerry) Cash of Columbiana and daughter, Pamela E. (Rodney) Brooker of Alabaster. She is also survived by one sister, Jean P. (Don) Davis of Wilsonville; 3 brothers, R.D. (Jane) Patterson of Dothan; Calvin (Lola) Patterson of Arley; Jerry Patterson of San Diego, Calif.; sister-in-law, Reba Patterson; brother-in-law, Ottis Beane. She and her husband have 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home in Columbiana on Thursday, June 14, 2007 at 2 p.m. and officiated by the Rev. Howard Brasher and the Rev. Joe Stone.
The family received friends on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. She was laid to rest next to her son at Pinelawn Gardens in Columbiana.
