Allen Roger Morgan, 66, of Alabaster passed away Friday, May 25, 2007.

A father is neither an anchor to hold us back. Nor a sail to take us there, but always a guiding light whose love shows us the way.

Morgan served in the U.S. Navy and retired from General Cable after 30 years. The memorial service was held Sunday, May 27 at 6 p.m. at Charter Funeral Home.

He is survived by his daughter, Tiffany (Robert) Collins of Alabaster; brother, Edwin Morgan of Leesburg, Fla.; and granddaughter, Kaitlyn Collins.
