Funeral service for Willard Davis, age 67, of Columbiana, was 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 2, 2007, at Cedar Grove Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. David Clecker officiating. Burial followed at Pinelawn Gardens.

Visitation was Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Davis, who passed away on Monday, April 30, 2007, was born on Sept. 7, 1939 in Columbiana. Mr. Davis worked at Shelby County Highway Department and was a member of Cedar Grove in Wilsonville.

He attended from time to time New Life AOG in Maplesville.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Davis; daughter, Amy (Charles) Holley; brother; Hubert Davis; sisters, Edna Carter, Fran Talton and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
