Henry Reavy Caton, 88, of Harpersville died May 2, 2007 at Brookwood Medical Center. The funeral service was held Saturday, May 5, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church. Burial followed at Harpersville Cemetery. Visitation was Friday, May 4, 2007 from 5:30-8 p.m. at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel. The Rev. William Rayfield presided.

He is preceded in death by wife, Mildred Caton.

He is survived by sister, Mildred Kirkland of Clanton; brothers, James A. Caton of Hoover, William R. Caton of Clanton, and Kenneth R. Caton of Clanton.

Mr. Caton was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church in Harpersville and a former two-term mayor of Harpersville
