Corky Bell Dancers of Alabaster collected over 500 cans of food for the needy families of Shelby County.

The Corky Bell level five and six dancers who take tap and jazz collected 120 cans of food. The Monday level one class came in second by collecting 75 cans of food. The dancers also contributed sweaters and coats for children who didn&8217;t have any.

The studio was visited by Mrs. Paul McNeil-Tall from Shelby Emergency Assistance, Inc. She talked with the dancers and explained the importance of community involvement and explained how the food and coats will be used to help others.
