Funeral service for Barbara Whitehead, 69, of Columbiana, was held at 1 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 4, at Fellowship of Faith Community Church. Rev. Allen Dennis officiated. Burial followed at Macedonia Baptist Cemetery in Margaret. Visitation was held two hours prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Whitehead, who passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 2, at her home, was born on Nov. 24, 1937 in St. Clair County. She was a member of Fellowship of Faith Community Church.

She was the Owner and Founder of Babs & Associates in Columbiana. She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Whitehead; children, Leo (Sue) Tidwell, Deborah (Michael) Culpepper; grandchildren, Rachel Joiner, Stephanie Joiner, Hannah Tidwell, Ronnie Tidwell, Danielle Culpepper; great-granddaughter, Ashley Jo Smith and a host of family and friends.
