Graveside service for Mary Roberts, age 82, of Alabaster, were at 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 18, 2006 at Oakland Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Miller officiating.

Mrs. Roberts, who passed away on Friday, Dec. 15, 2006, at a local nursing home, was born on Dec. 13, 1924 in Elba.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Alvin Rupert Roberts and a granddaughter, Mary Beth Hiebert.

She is survived by her children, Marilyn Jaye Mathers, Michael Vaughan (Betty) Roberts, Susan Roberts Ham; grandchildren, Chris (Lisa) Weekley, Holly (Steve) Shelton, Brooke (Michael) White, Amy (Kevin) Holland, Casey (David) Crim; six great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
